Marketing in the digital age for lawyers : Program this Friday in Seattle
For those of you in the Seattle area, join me this Friday, October 18, for a full day program on ‘Marketing in the Digital Age.’ The program is being put on by the Washington Association for Justice.
Seattle trial lawyer, Karen Koehler (@k3VelvetHammer), and Avvo CEO, Mark Britton (@Mark_Britton), the program’s chairs, have pulled together a strong list of presenters. The marketing and business development topics being covered would be applicable for any lawyer or firm. They include:
- Turning 10 Legal Marketing Challenges into Opportunity
- Social Media Marketing – A Strategy for Networking through the Web
- Be a Branding Rock Star – How to Build a Brand and Grow your Network
- Security and Ethics of Cloud Computing
- Google Local Search Tips for Lawyers
- Search Engine Marketing 101
- Be Responsive: Mobile Marketing Best Practices
I am honored to have the opportunity to be speaking on social media. Having served on the board of my state’s trial lawyers association when I practiced, it feels good to part of a program hosted by WSAJ whose mission is to fight for the rights of people.
The program, running from 8:30 to 5:00, is being held at the Washington State Convention Center. You may register here.
Friday, ending at 5? Beer at a near by pub on LexBlog is always a possibility.
