PLI San Francisco Program Tomorrow: Social Media for Business Development

PLI Social Media For Business DevelopmentI’ll be in San Francisco tomorrow, Wednesday, May 2 to chair a full day program entitled the ‘Lawyers’ Guide to Using Social Media for Professional and Client Development.’ The program is put on by the Practising Law Institute (PLI).

PLI has pulled together an excellent faculty of leading lawyers, marketing and communication pro’s, and business development experts. The focus will be on how to leverage the Internet to build relationships and enhance your reputation.

Beyond theory, the faculty will share their personal stories of how they have leveraged blogging and other social media platforms to achieve very significant business growth and teach you how to do the same.

In addition to the faculty listed on the PLI site, I’m excited to share that we’ve added Kevin Livingston, a veteran reporter and communications’ professional, as well as well recognized authority and author, Shel Israel. Israel will be kicking off the day at 9 with his keynote on ‘How Social Media Changes PR & Why it’s good for Lawyers.’

The program will be held at the PLI California Center, 685 Market Street, in San Francisco and run from 9 to 5. I am sure there is still time to register today and at the door. The program will also be available via live telecast and by recording to all law firms which are PLI subscribers.
