New blogs on the LexBlog Network for the week of 10/4-10/8

As the week winds to a close the total for new blogs on the LexBlog Network this week hits six as one other publication relaunches with some changes in appearance. The LexBlog Network has publications from all over the world but, at the same time, it’s nice to be local sometimes too as this week we launch two blogs with Seattle roots.

  • Seattle attorney Chris Sharpe authors the Washington Workers Compensation Law Blog. On this blog, Chris provides insights on labor & industries law in Washington State. For 25 years, he has exclusively represented individual employees, never the employer or insurance company.
  • The Washington Criminal Law Review is the second of two Seattle-based blogs to launch this week as criminal attorney and former judge Michael Morgan joins the LexBlog Network. Boasting an impressive list of accomplishments as a judge, Michael brings that experience to this publication as his provides insight on developments in crimnal law, forensic evidents and evidentiary issues.
  • With two great publications already off to solid starts—their RPE Law Alert and IP Law AlertGibbons adds to its blogging portfolio with the addition of the E-Discovery Law Alert. Mark Sidoti, Chair of the Gibbons E-Discovery Task Force, serves as the Editor on this blog.
  • Minneapolis attorney Michael Brandt publishes the Minnesota Criminal Defender blog. On this blog, Mike will focuses on all aspect of criminal law, whether that’s DUI law and developments surrounding that, homicide cases, juvenile law or even misdememeanor offenses. Mike brings a unique background to defense with his 16 years serving as a public defender.
  • Colorado law firm Otten Johnson Robinson Neff + Ragonetti joins the LexBlog Network this week with the launch of their blog, Rocky Mountain Real Estate Law. The blogging attorneys at Otten Johnson, the leading real estate and land use law firm in Colorado, comment on development, green building, financing and other developments in CO real estate law.
  • Nossaman LLP, another firm that has its blogging act down, launches its fifth blog in the form of the California Insurance Law Observer. Blogging on insurance news and developments, topics covered by the team of lawyers includes coverage counseling and litigation as well as first party insurance and commercial general liability.

Also worth noting: ArcherNorris‘ established California Appellate Law Blog re-launches this week with a new look. The attorneys blog on activities associated with practicing appellate law, appellate procedure, recent California appellate decisions and civil procedure.
