New blogs on the LexBlog Network for the week of 9/27-10/1

The six launches on the LexBlog Network this week bring together law firms with varying experience in the world of blogging. Reed Smith is a LexBlog Network heavyweight, Squire Sanders and Hughes & Hughes are well underway with each launching their second publications and we’re excited to have the blogging lawyers and attorneys at Lawson Lundell and Iseman, Cunningham, Riester & Hyde getting started with their first LexBlog Network publications.
- Andrew Cross of Reed Smith’s Financial Industry Group serves as editor-in-chief on The Swap Report. Andrew brings an adept level of writing to this blog, choosing not to provide just bland updates, but instead using his perspective to offer his own expert opinion on legal issues affecting the world of derivatives trading. This is Reed Smith’s 14th blog on the LexBlog Network.
- Triage – Health Care Reform Winners & Loses is written by attorneys Peter Pavarini, Anthony Shaffer, Kristin Harlow and Robert Nauman of Squire Sanders. This blog intends to take a different approach than most legal blogs, especially those in the health care realm, by providing real-speak in combination with newsroom-style content to provide readers with a real “ear to the street” approach to covering the legal developments associated with health care reform.
- Arkadelphia attorney Buckley Bridges of Hughes & Hughes Law Firm authors the Arkansas Timber Law blog. Using his experience in various types of property law, particularly in the realms of private and public land use, Buckley comments on news and updates on timber law and policy in the state of Arkansas.
- Lawson Lundell joins the LexBlog Network with the launch of their Western Canada Business Litigation Blog. The blogging team of attorneys at this publication aim to use the blog to build stronger relationships with many of their exisitng clients by keeping them up to date on new and interesting issues emerging in the legal and business communities.
- Marcia Smith and Rachel Ryan of Iseman, Cunningham, Riester & Hyde serve as authors on the firm’s blog, the Health Care Integration Advisors. The attorneys on this blog discuss the ongoing changes in health care law and how business can best navigate these changing times.
- The Massachussetts Land Use Monitor is authored by a team of attorneys at Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster. On the blog, these attorens comment on the cases they are working on now, along with providing insight on land use in the state of Massachussetts and developments in real estate law.
