New blogs joining the LexBlog Network for the week of 9/13-9/17

As the week comes to a close, the LexBlog Network sees an impressive eight new publications join its fray. Included in that bunch is the first blog on the LexBlog Network from AmLaw 200 firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP.
- The Toronto Estates & Trusts Monitor is published by Megan Connolly of Connolly Law. Prior to starting her own practice, Megan racticed estate, trust, and capacity litigation at Hull & Hull LLP. She has experience representing both beneficiaries and trustees; individual clients, trust companies, insurers, charitable organizations, and government agencies.
- Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP joins the LexBlog Network with their Investment Fund Law Blog. The team of blogging attorneys provide valuavble updates and insights on legal issues facing fund managers and investors. The firm itself represents a broad range of clients, including investments funds, investment advisers, broker-dealers and institutional investors.
- Bolsting very impressive resumés, Washington, DC attorneys Kent Talbert and Robert Eitel launched their Education Law Review. Kent served as General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Education from 2006-2009 while Robrt served as Deputy General Counsel for Departmental and Legislative Service in the Office of the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Education. Together, they blog on legal developments affecting all levels of the educational system.
- Jonathan Rosenfeld, author of the excellent Nursing Homes Abuse Blog, launches his second blog on the LexBlog Network in the form of the Child Injury Laws Blog. Jonathan blogs on topics that include medical malpractice, swimming pool injuries, motorvehicle accidents and sever personal injury.
- In their eighth blog on the LexBlog Network, Littler Mendelson teams up with Stuart N. Brotman Communications to present the Digital Workplace Blog. In their own words, the blog “is designed to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of the issues, with Stuart N. Brotman Communications covering developments from a management perspective, and Littler examining the legal implications of technology in the workplace.”
- Long Island attorney Nail Cahn is the editor and publisher for Divorce: New York. Aimed at providing updates on legal developments to both the public and those in the profession, the blog covers topics that include electronic evidence, no fault divorce, counsel fees and the attorney-client relationship.
- For those in the trucking injury, Carlock & Copeland launched their Southeastern Trucking & Transportation Defense Blog. Carlock & Copeland’s services including providing counsel to and representing intrastate and interstate motor carriers of persons and property, drivers, owner-operators, shippers, freight forwarders, third party logistics providers (3PL’s), insurers, and other transportation related entities throughout Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and the southeast.
- FCA Alert is the sixth blog on the LexBlog Network from the blogging lawyers and attorneys at Kelley Drye & Warren. The blog intends to provide guidance on emerging trends in false claims act investigations and litigation. Antonia Giuliana, Cliff Katz and Neil Merkl serve as editors on the publication.
