CLE Teleconference: Pumping up your online presence with a blog

February 29, 2008

Law Blogs ABA CLETwo blog oldtimers are conducting a teleconference, ‘Pumping Up Your Online Presence with a Blog,’ next Thursday March 6 from 1 to 2:30 ET.

The program is produced by the American Bar Association General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Division. You’ll get 1.5 CLE credits.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Understanding of blogs
  • How to use blog features such as RSS feeds and feed readers
  • Examination of representative blogs
  • Tips on publishing a blog
  • How to harvest specialized legal information available in blogs

The oldtimers. Heck, they’re younger than me (everyone is) but Jim Calloway, publisher of Legal Practice Tips Blog, and Tom Mighell, publisher of Inter Alia have been discussing the pro’s and cons of blogs and presenting on law blogs for years. Both are talented lawyers who have been out in front on innovative technology.

Registration is here. About $100, less than you’ll spend in FedEx by next Monday.
