ABA TechShow deploys social networking tools
February 12, 2008
The ABA TechShow is one-upping last week’s ALM LegalTech New York when it comes to use of social networking tools.
TechShow Chairperson Tom Mighell highlighted this afternoon the social networking tools to be used at the ABA TechShow.
- A blog feed that will aggregate all of the live-blogging at ABA TechShow, as well as any other blog posts regarding the show.
- A Twitter feed will update conference attendees about upcoming sessions, events, and other fun stuff, via text message or on the Web.
- Got a camera? Bring it to ABA TechShow, ’cause we’re working on a Flickr feed that will show all the photos taken at the conference all in one place.
- An ABA TechShow del.icio.us feed will allow attendees to create a page of links from some of the sites they learned about during presentations.
During the conference our speakers will discuss useful and interesting websites for lawyers and legal professionals.
This will allow not only networking and collaboration among those in attendance who may not have met each other, but also allow non attendees to monitor things from afar.
If you haven’t registered for TechShow in Chicago from March 13 to 15, you ought to do so by going here. See you there.
