Beckham starts his own blog

New to America, world soccer sensation David Beckham has started a blog. The UK’s Sun reports Beck, as they call him, has started the blog to show his critics wrong who joke about his reading and writing skills.

At quick glance, Beckham’s blog looks like a Hollywood created PR play. Makes sense in that he’ll be playing for the LA Major League Soccer team. Perhaps his content will prove me wrong.

Sure doesn’t match up with the detail and passion Boston Red Sox pitcher serves up at his blog, 38 Pitches. Can’t beat an entry that begins ‘Let’s see, I sucked, we still won. That about cover it?’ But you need to remember I’m an avid baseball fan and have been forever scarred about soccer since CBS tried to make it the NFL of the summer in the late 60’s with Lindsey Nelson doing the broadcasting.
