$20 Million suit against 2 blogs

When you hear about lawsuits versus bloggers, they’re more than likely along this vein.

Lindsay Lohan pal Samantha Ronson has filed a lawsuit against two blogs, claiming libel. From Gia Cortina of the Post Chronicle, Samantha Ronson, an up and coming celebrity DJ, is outraged at suggestions that the cocaine that was discovered in Lindsay’s car after her latest accident belonged to her.

The blogs being sued are popular Hollywood gossip blogs, Celebrity Babylon and Mario Lavandeira known as Perez Hilton on her blog.

Lawyer bloggers, I think would pause before accusing someone as a crime. Libel per se may be the one thing I remember from the bar exam.
