AOL’s news sites adopt look of blogs : No RSS feeds
June 28, 2007
As reported by the Washington Posts’ Sam Diaz, AOL’s news sites have adopted the look of blogs. The AOL sites will display short news stories — some as short as a sentence or two– accompanied by video clips, photographs or interactive polls intended to engage readers.
Though AOL says they’re doing this to reflect a general shift in how consumers prefer to get information on the Web, there’s no RSS feeds that I can see. Dumb.
