We’re gathering in Seattle
LexBlog’s IT Director, Jesse Newland, will be in from Atlanta for Thursday’s Amazon Web Services conference.
Amazon and Madrona Venture Group are co-hosting the event covering Amazon Web Services.
Amazon has spent 11 years and over $2 billion building the infrastructure, technical knowledge, and operational excellence to operate a world class web-scale computing platform. Amazon Web Services has now released a variety of web services (programmatic access to its open APIs) that enable developers [LexBlog included] to leverage Amazon’s data and robust infrastructure, easily and inexpensively.
Greg Storey, LexBlog’s Creative Director, will be in from Orange County, for a full day of meetings Friday with Jesse, Client Services Director Stacey Merrick, Sales Director Mike Hellum, and myself in the Seattle office.
We’ll top it off with some beers and Ichiro Bobbleheads at the Mariner’s game on Friday night.
And then on Saturday, I’m getting together with Justia’s Tim Stanley, who’s coming up to interview some students at Western Washington University. Tim says some beers are in order as well. ;)
