Leading lawyers on legal panel at Blogher

Marianne Richmond, founder of a St. Louis marketing and branding consultancy specializing in social media and word of mouth marketing, will be moderating the Blogher Business ’07 panel ‘How to Keep Out of Real Trouble‘ on March 23.

She’ll be joined by Missouri employment lawyer Megan Belcher from Blackwell Sanders, New York business lawyer Nina Kaufman, and Google corporate communications maven, Karen Wickre.

This panel is part of the track How Do I Get It Right The First Time which focuses on issues that should be discussed in the planning stage in order to launch the most effective social media initiative. They’ll take a close look at top legal and P.R. questions every business owner or exec has before kicking off a social media program. The panel will share cautionary tales and how tell you and your clients how to avoid becoming one.

Marianne has done a pre-conference interview of the panelists to give you take of the legal issues that’ll be covered.

For lawyers, Blogher Business is a direct conflict with the ABA TechShow in Chicago. Both conferences have value, they’re just different. If you are looking to network with other lawyers and see legal technology, ABA TechShow is best. If you’re looking for innovative ideas on how to market your practice and grow your legal practice, Blogher Business is hands done for you.

The founders of Blogher are movers and shakers in the new media and social networking arena and their conferences have always been well received – by both women and men attendees.
