Fellow tenant does $700 million in sales

Guess we know now who should be buy the first round at Cowgirls, the bar on the first floor of our new offices in Pioneer Square.

Brier Dudley of our Seattle Times reports the Cray guys upstairs on the 6th floor did pretty well with super computers. “Cray signed $600 million worth of contracts last year, and already in 2007 it has signed $100 million. It’s also rolling out three new systems.”

We’re located in the Merrill Place building at 411 First Avenue, a few blocks north of Safeco Field. Merrill Place is known as being the birth place for Aldus who gave you desktop publishing via PageMaker. Maybe some of their luck will rub off on LexBlog.

And we haven’t made it to Cowgirls yet. As I age, I like a barstool and no pushing with my beer.
