BlogHer Business Conference : Lawyers & legal marketing professionals make note
Elisa Camahort reports the schedule is out for the Blogher Business Conference in New York next March 22 and 23.
Lawyers who are blogging, as well as those on the fence would gain a ton from this conference. So would legal marketing professionals working with lawyers and law firms. And yes, though men are not on the speaker list, the conference is open to men.
Legal technology and legal marketing conferences do not offer near the ideas and opportunity to network with innovators as conferences such as Blogher. If you’re looking for practical information on how to effectively use blogs, RSS, and social media for marketing your law firm, you could do a lot worse than this conference.
Presenters will cover the gammut.
- Big companies (e.g. Cisco, Google and Yahoo!)
- Start-ups (e.g. SheFinds and Linden Lab)
- Media companies (e.g. Hearst, MarketWatch, and FastCompany)
I had the pleasure of meeting Elisa Camahort and Jory Des Jardins, two of three founders of Blogher, at Blog Business Summit in Seattle. Lisa Stone, formerly of American Lawyer Media and instrumental in law.com’s blog network, rounds out the team. These guys are good. They’re not only building one heck of blog network at Blogher, but also have a history of putting on excellent conferences that sell out well in advance.
