BloggerCon : Watching live from afar

Dave Winer provides instructions on numerous ways to tune into BloggerCon, taking place today and tomorrow in San Francisco. I am watching Kevin Marks’s live video webcast feed.

BloggerCon is a premier conference about weblogs with a focus on weblogs in journalism, education, science, business and politics. The first BloggerCon in 2003, was organized by Dave Winer and friends at Harvard Law School’s Berkman Center for the Internet and Society. It’s been a real catalyst in blogging, podcasting and citizen journalism in general.

For law seminar companies fearing that live blogging or broadcasts from seminars will hurt their live seminars, BloggerCon has been sold out for a long time and will be for many years to come. The publicity and PR value BloggerCon, it’s organizers, and attendees are getting by virtue of this live coverage is priceless. Far beyond mailing 5,000 seminar flyers.
