Gnomedex : Register now before it’s too late

April 17, 2006

I just registered for Gnomedex, a technology seminar focused on blogs, RSS and all things related. Though it’s not until the end of June, you ought to sign up now before it fills.

What’s Gnomedex? From their site:

  • Business Models Brought to Life
  • The People Aggregator
  • A tap into the Conversation Economy
  • Movers, Shakers, & Deal Makers
  • Thought Leaders, Industry Influencers, Entrepreneurs
  • Continuous online conversation and PR
  • The most affordable conference of its kind
  • Important for new, existing company strategies
  • Essential for the success of Internet businesses
  • An annual conference that sells out early

Read more about the history of Gnomedex.

Last year a few hundred filled the main room with another hundred in overflow rooms watching on large screens. 6,000 people watched live video feeds across the Internet. Dave Winer demo’d OPML, Microsoft told the world they loved RSS, drinks and food at the Seattle’s incredibly designed public library. And a lot more.

I attended last year and I’m not sure if I attended a better conference for learning, networking and having an all around great time. It’s in Seattle so you’ll have to travel farther than my 35 minute ferry ride. But Seattle is awesome in the summer and you’ll not find a better site than the Bell Harbor International Conference Center.

See you in June.
