Legal Tech : Internet connection gets worse – no WiFi at all

January 31, 2006

At least on day one, there was WiFi in a small area in a crowded exhibition hall. Day two has arrived and WiFi has been elinminated altogether.

Now, just a bunch of people with open laptops walking around looking for a signal and cussing. When attendees ask ALM (American Lawyer Media), the conference coordinator/host, for information about the WiFi connection, the ALM rep’s just say they don’t know anything about it.

No response to my inquiries of yesterday asking ALM and their bloggers, what’s going on and when it’s going to be corrected.

Only at a technology conference in the legal industry could this happen.
