LLRX : Great online resource on the legal industry

January 29, 2006

LLRX.com, an all round online legal resource with a bias towards Internet related information, has been a labor of love for Sabrina Pacifici for over 10 years. Sabrina attracts thought leaders to create original content and have archived discussions on various subjects. Should be on the short list of resources for all legal blog publishers.

LLRX is updated monthly. To receive notice of the updates, you may join the mailing list. In the alternative, you can get the RSS feeds from Sabrina’s excellent blog, beSpacific. Get the blog feeds and you’ll get daily legal news as well.

I like LLRX for its info on Internet marketing. It was discussion about blogs for marketing purposes between, I believe, Dennis Kennedy and Jerry Lawson, at LLRX’s roundtable feature that was a key in turning me onto the power of blogs a couple years ago.

Just this month, there’s over 10 regular features and columns plus the following new columns:

  • Law librarian and blogger Connie Crosby writes about The Tao of Law Librarianship, the second installment of which is titled Do-It-Yourself Professional Development.
  • Faulkner’s Practical Web Strategies for Attorneys, by Frederick L. Faulkner IV, is a monthly review of technologies, strategies, and techniques that can help you and your firm take advantage of the Web. Fred is the Web Master for the American Bar Association. This month, New Year’s Resolution – Update Your Website
  • E-Discovery Update – by Fios Inc., is a particularly timely resource, authored by electronic data compliance experts. This column will be of special interest to attorneys, IT and litigation support professionals. In this issue, Mary Mack’s article is Cost Savings With New Federal Rules of Civil Procedure for e-Discovery?

Make note of conferences Sabrina may be speaking at or attending. Not only is she is a wealth of info, but she’s also one of the nicest persons you’d want to meet.
