BlawgReview : Hopefully my last post a/k/a these guys are nuts
Now that I have lawyers commenting on my blog and emailing me, some anonymously, about my post about BlawgReview’s ties to American Lawyer Media (ALM), I guess I should respond. It always feels so good to have lawyers alleging you’re defaming someone.
The editor of the BlawgReview refutes Matt Homman’s allegation that American Lawyer Media owns BlawgReview and says that ALM’s contact information in the domain regisration for ‘blawgreview.com’ merely provides ALM effective control of the domain registration, subject to the ‘special terms of our affiliation agreement for succession.’ Frankly, only lawyers, assuming the editor of the BlawgReview is a lawyer, could act this silly.
And in the so silly it’s hard to believe category, tough she/he/it will criticize me, the editor of BlawgReview won’t even visit my blog from where ever they are connected to the Internet. Quoting the editor of the BlawgReview:
Last week, I noticed that someone had come to the Blawg Review website from a link on LexBlog that disclosed enough in its permalink that I knew it was bothersome. I didn’t even want to go there, so I asked another blogger whom I trust to check it out and email me a copy of the text of Kevin O’Keefe’s post.

By the way, will you do me a favor? Go check out this recent post from Kevin O’Keefe and copy and paste his post into an email to me. I don’t want to go there right away, but I’d like to know what he’s up to.
Thanks,
Ed.
Can you imagine any other people than lawyers wasting so much time as a result of my asking one simple question, “Who are you?” I cannot.
