Yahoo news search includes blogs

Yahoo has added blogs to a beta version of Yahoo news. You’ll see blog results listed to right of the news search results. The problem is that the blog results do not look current and its difficult to tell how they are ranking the blog search results.

It’s a big step in the right direction included blogs, a form of citizen journalism, along side main stream news. But for now the blog results are pretty lacking.
