Hit those knees tonight

Posting about marketing via blogs seems trivial the last few days in light of the catastrophe and personal tragedies taking place before our eyes. The personal stories coming out of New Orleans and Mississippi are overwhelming and dam near move you to tears.

Part of me feels like it’s disrespectful to be working or remotely having fun when there are likely thousands who have been killed and hundreds of thousands displaced, or better put refugees in their own country until at least Christmas. And that does not include all the people worrying about loved ones they have been separated from because of a total breakdown in communications. But I’ll put me head down, work hard, make light of any troubles I think I have and with the money we earn have LexBlog make a significant contribution to the Red Cross in the honor of our Louisiana and Mississippi law firm clients.

And by the way, hit those knees tonight or stop by the local church and light a candle for all those people down there. Though we may want to be down there physically lending a hand, prayer is all many of us can offer right now.
