Lawyer blogs and baseball : Can it get any better?

Monica Bay, editor-in-chief of Law Technology News, editorial director of Law Firm Inc. and Small Firm Business, and a rabid New York Yankees fan has published a great post at her Common Scold blog reviewing some of her favorite blogs. Best of all she does it by going to one major league town to another and discussing lawyer blogs in that city. If there’s been a more creative way to review law blogs, I ain’t seen it.

I was glad as heck to be mentioned by Monica with our Seattle Mariners. I am a ravid Cubs fan though – ravid enough to wait out a 3 hour ran delay at Murphy’s Bleachers a couple weeks ago to see Greg Maddux get strike out number 3,000. As my son said, I may have been the only one to see Raphie Palmero get hit 3,000 and Maddux do his thing in a period of 5 days. Assume Greg did not do it on sterioids.

And of course it was blogs that brought me to Chicago – to speak to a group at Larry Bodine’s invitation.
