Blogman goes Hollywood?

E Hollywood sign.gifJohn Hart, a former Hollywood executive, is going to produce a ‘blogumentary’ film about 59 bloggers who, in his view, represent the blogosphere. He’s posted a list of bloggers who have already agreed to appear. The movie will be entered in film festivals, and made available to television and theatrical distributors.

Much to my surprise, I’ve been selected as one of the bloggers. Frankly, it’s an honor to be included with the likes of Steve Rubel of Micro Persusion, Robert Scoble of Scobleizer fame, Professor Lawrence Lessig, Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist, Cameron Barrett of Cam World, Jeffery Zeldman and Rebecca Blood, publisher of Rebecca’s Pocket & author of The Weblog Handbook.

John is going to be traveling to the home of the bloggers, which in my case means a ferry ride from Seattle to LexBlog’s office on the marina here on Bainbridge Island. And before things go to my head, we’re only promised anywhere from 30-seconds to 120-seconds exposure in the movie. John says it really depends on what you have to say and how cute your pet is. Better dress up Newman (my dumb Yellow Lab) and Annie (my smarter German Wire-Hair) that day.
