Thank you LMA & members

I have had a wonderful time at the Legal Marketing Association National Conference in Phoenix the last few days.

I really want to thank LMA and Ross Fishman for inviting me to speak on ‘Professional Marketing Blogs.’ Had a large audience who asked lots of questions generating some great discussion. Blogs may be new to legal marketing, but from the interest in the room expect to see blogs take off in a big way for law firms across the country in the coming year.

For all the grief I give to LexisNexis Martindale-Martindale, got to thank them for all the events they have hosted free of charge, ranging from cocktail parties, a karaoke bar to a rodeo. These guys know how to throw a great party. Better yet, I got to spend some time with friends of mine I met when I worked there after my last company was acquired by LexisNexis. Martindale, no matter your view on their business, employs some of the nicest folks out there.

Plus got the opportunity to put faces to names with a lot of LexBlog clients. It’s these marketing professionals we work for and those I met with that we will soon be working for that make the LMA conference a great event.
