Well, I think very few of the top one hundred law firms use RSS. I once went through about 5O websites (before I got tired) and could only find one RSS stream offered by Wilmer Hale. They all have pretty good content, but how am I supposed to find it or be reminded of new content? Is it just plain ignorance or what?
Ignorance? Maybe indifference. Does Cravath really need a blog to generate business or for client relations? I'm sure they have clients who would find the technology helpful, but I'm also sure they many clients who could care less.
If you're paying the premium of representation from a firm of that size, you probably are expecting a different type of service, more personal attention. (That isn't to say you're getting it... you probably aren't.) It reminds me of a client I had back in my video production days who _refused_ to make training videos or computer based training. Why? Because for the types of clients they had, they didn't *want* technology. They wanted *face time*.
Blogging, it seems has been adopte dbest by tech companies, and the way things are going the remaining industries will have to follow.
