Are You Using ChatGPT in Your Legal Blogging? Google Study Highlights AI as a Career Catalyst

November 26, 2024

As reported in Entrepreneur Magazine, a new Google study released on Monday reveals that nearly 100% of Gen Z knowledge workers (ages 22 to 27) are using AI tools like ChatGPT at work.

These professionals, described by Google as “young leaders” because of their current or aspiring leadership roles, are leveraging AI in meaningful ways such as for meeting notes, drafting emails, improving communication, and freeing up time for strategic work.

For lawyers, this trend should serve as a wake-up call. If you’re not using tools like ChatGPT in your legal blogging, younger professionals establishing themselves as leaders will catch up and pass you—not just in blogging, but in the critical areas of relationship building and creating a word-of-mouth reputation online.

“These rising leaders are not simply using AI as a tool for efficiency but as a catalyst to help grow their careers,” says Google Workspace VP Yulie Kwon Kim.

Legal blogging is more than publishing content; it’s about networking through the Internet, thought leadership, and building trust.

By integrating AI into your blogging process, you can enhance your efficiency, improve your tone, and position yourself as a leader in your field.

Rather than being intimidated by AI, as lawyers before you were intimidated by computers, email and the Internet, embrace innovation in ways to grow your practice and reputation.
