The Texas Bar Association and LexBlog have entered into an affinity agreement by which the 90,000 members of the Texas Bar will be able to buy LexBlog’s professional turnkey blog solutions at a significantly discounted price.

In addition to firm branded blogs and services (custom design, hosting, coaching, SEO, free support), Texas Bar members will be included as members of the country’s largest legal blog network and showcased on the LexBlog Network (LXBN). Members will receive a 40% discount on their launch fee and a 10% discount on their subscriptions.

LexBlog and the Texas Bar have a long standing relationship with both the Texas Bar Today publication and the Texas Bar Blog running on LexBlog’s publishing platform.

I’ve had the pleasure of speaking at Texas Bar Annual meetings and coaching employees of the bar and the Texas Bar Jourmal on blogging and social media.

I also know the bar has a keen interest in supporting and shining a light on small firm lawyers across rural areas of Texas, something evidenced through the blog curation and reports on Texas Bar Today.

I expect this partnership to be just a start in empowering lawyers across Texas to blog to bring greater access to legal information and legal services through the trust that blogging establishes.

I’m also excited that through blogging, Texas lawyers will realize the opportunity that awaits them – doing the type of work they have dreamed of doing for the people they want to represent.
