ABA Journal Blawg 100 : Last day for nominations

ABA-journal1
August 8, 2014

The ABA Journal is working on their annual list of the 100 best legal blogs, and they’d like your input on which blogs to include.

Use the submission form at their site to tell them about a blog that you feel is “Blawg 100 Worthy.” You can nominate more than one blog.

The deadline to nominate is 5 p.m. this afternoon, August 8.

There is no specific criteria by which a blogger can meet to be guaranteed a spot on the Blawg 100, but the ABA Journal says to keep these criteria in mind when nominating a blog.

  • We’re primarily interested in blogs in which the author is recognizable as someone working in a legal field or studying law in the vast majority of his or her posts.
  • The blog should offer insights into the practice of law and be of interest to legal professionals or law students.
  • The majority of the blog’s content should be unique to the blog and not cross-posted or cut and pasted from other publications.
  • We are not interested in blogs that more or less exist to promote the author’s products and services.

Thanks to Molly Molly McDonough (@Molly_McDonough), Managing Editor at the ABA Journal, and her team for the work they put in each year on the Blawg 100. The Blawg 100 not only shines a light on some of the better legal blogs in the country, but also provides role models for lawyers new to blogging or struggling with their blog.

Good luck to all.
