Off to Avvo’s Lawyernomics conference in Las Vegas
I’m headed to Avvo’s Lawyernomics 2013 in Las Vegas this afternoon. The two-day conference, which has seen a re-branding from previous iterations as Avvocating, will focus on “the business of law.”
Take a look at the speakers. Kudos to Avvo’s team for pulling together thought-leaders inside and outside the law to lead the discussion on online marketing and legal social media communities.
Speakers include Porter Gale, Award-Winning Marketing Expert & Former VP of Marketing at Virgin America; Russ Laraway, Senior Director SMB Sales at Twitter; and LXBN member Karen Koehler, Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney and Past President, Washington State Association for Justice.
If you won’t be at the conference in person, you may stay informed via LXBN. LXBN TV’s coverage is already up and running on a featured Lawyernomics 2013 channel on LXBN.
Here’s an interview done with speaker Sam Glover, Editor in Chief at Lawyerist.
LexBlog’s LXBN Network will extend the reach of the ideas and information presented at Lawyernomics far beyond the walls of the conference itself.
LXBN TV interviews, independent coverage via other blog posts on the conference, attendees’ tweets, and even sharing from me will all be part of the coverage.
If you’re attending the Lawyernomics Conference and plan to blog about it, please let our Editorial Manager, Colin O’Keefe, know and we’ll feature your content with ours.
Hope to see some of you there.
