New Legal Marketing Association website : Improved experience for members
Kudos to the Legal Marketing Association (LMA) on launching an improved website yesterday. The LMA Technology Committee expects the new site will offer a better online experience for users.
New features include:
- Networking capabilities to help members connect with each other.
- Communities with customized content.
- Combined LMA news and information all on one place.
- Enhanced discussion forums to make it easier to read and post information.
- Updated Member Directory.
- File Library to access relevant resources, document and to share best practices with like-minded professionals.
- Updated Chapter features including an integrated event management system, newsletter templates and enhances administration capabilities.
I don’t know about fits of joy but LMA leaders seem pretty excited about the new site. Per Casey (@tenrec) of LMA’s Technology Committee comments on the site’s new makeover:
We the members of the LMA technology committee are having fits of joy in anticipation of launching the new website. A new interface, better content management tools, an integrated membership database, event management, online forums…it’s got it all.
And Heather Morse (@heather_morse), LMA Board of Directors and Board Liaison to LMA Technology Committee on the combined news feed feature:
The news feed on the site is a really great benefit. If you’re like me and subscribe to 50 or 75 blogs in your reader, it’s nice to be able to come to one place and see a recap of the biggest industry stories all in one place.
LMA is the universal voice of the legal marketing profession, a forum that brings together CMOs and entry-level specialists from firms of all sizes, consultants and vendors, lawyers, marketers from other professions, and marketing students to share their collective knowledge.
