New blogs joining the LexBlog Network for the week of 8/15-8/19
August 19, 2011
Another summer week comes to a close with two new publications joining the LexBlog Network. Each blog joining the Network this week is the first from their respective firms—one is based in LexBlog’s backyard, right here in Seattle, while the other is from Tennessee, college football country. I’m out all next week so enjoy while my colleagues Nick Shekeryk and Jared Sulzdorf man the roundups and LXBN.
- Tennessee Labor Talk is the first publication on the LexBlog Network from Bass Barry Sims, a 200-attorney firm with offices in Nashville, Memphis and Knoxville. With a strong team of authors, the blog is already putting forth some excellent commentary on subjects that include discrimination, leaves of absence, wage and hour law, whistleblowers and employment agreements. Based on what I’ve seen, the blog gets right to the point in offering practical and actionable guidance to employers.
- Adding to the wealth of insightful intellectual property publications on the LexBlog Network, we have the Copyright Infringement Advisor from John Whitaker of Whitaker Law Group. An attorney with a strong engineering background and a passion for helping those who create, Whitaker created the Copyright Infringement Advisor to provide advice to creative people on how they can and should be protecting their work.
