Chris Fusco of Sports in the Courts Blog Interviewed on MLB Network

Whether it be Bill Marler on Larry King Live, Angel Reyes on Fox News or Megan Connolly on The National, I’m always blown away—although maybe I shouldn’t be—when LexBlog Network authors find their way onto national broadcasts. While these appearances almost always come on traditional news programs, today we have a bit of a change of pace with Chris Fusco of Sports in the Courts Blog appearing on MLB Network.

In his first appearance on the network, the Callahan & Fusco attorney discusses the Dodgers’ bankruptcy:

I got the chance to speak with Fusco yesterday afternoon, who explained the backstory behind the appearance and what lies ahead.

“I used to do commentary for MSG Network,” Fusco said. “There used to be a show called Sports Desk that I was the legal analyst for. [MSG] stopped doing the show and there was a lot of changeover there and a lot of the guys from [MSG] went to MLB Network. So they were looking for a spot and I did the first commentary on the Dodger bankruptcy.

“I was the first legal person they ever had on the network,” Fusco said. “And they liked it, they brought me back for Clemens and it looks like we’re going to do some more stuff so I’m very excited about it.”

Here’s a look at the Clemens interview:

It’s exciting to hear and I look forward to seeing more from Chris.
