Phased upgrades on The LexBlog Network publishing platform begin tonight

October 1, 2010

The first phase of upgrades on The LexBlog Network publishing platform take place tonight.

Our Tech Team will be implementing an auto-scaling cloud infrastructure that will help us support our next generation platform that we will be moving to later this year. There will no noticeable difference in your experience with tonight’s upgrade so there is nothing you need to be concerned about as an author on the network.

All blog sites will of course remain up and viewable to the public throughout our team’s work tonight. Publishing of posts between the hours of 12 AM ET tonight and 6 AM ET tomorrow morning will not be possible. As a LexBlog client, If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact client services. You may contact us online or by phone.

LexBlog is in the process of developing our own blog publishing platform based on an open source content management and publishing system. We’re making excellent progress and expect to roll out the platform in stages to clients over the end of this year and into early next year.

The LexBlog Network continues to grow. With over 3,000 blog authors publishing to over 700 blogs, The LexBlog Network is one of, if not the largest, professional blog networks.

On any given day, The LexBlog Network professionals will publish 150 to 200 blog posts. That’s a real credit to the lawyers and other professionals on the network who are advancing discussion on legal and other business matters.
