I’ll be in San Francisco and wine country this week

August 2, 2010

I‘ll be in Wine Country today. Not Northern California, but in Washington’s vineyard region lying East of the Cascade Mountains.

I’m speaking at the Fourth Annual Winery and Distribution Law Conference in Quincy. Attorneys, vineyard operators, wine producers and distributors, and government regulators involved with the production and distribution of wine, and others interested in the winery and wine distribution business, including tasting room managers and sales staff will be in attendance.

As is customary these days, there are a couple sessions on social media. I’ll be presenting with Seattle Attorney, James McCullagh, of Perkins Coie on the technologies being used in social media marketing efforts. The following session will be on the growing use of social media by wineries.

On Thursday I’ll be in San Francisco for the ABA’s Annual Meeting. I’m speaking briefly along with other industry leaders during an ABA Journal program entitled ‘10 Ways to Build a Perfect Practice & Career.’ It’ll be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, on the expo floor of Moscone Center West.

Hope to see some of you today and then down in San Francisco.
