New blogs joining the LexBlog Network for the week of 1/4-1/8
January 8, 2010
The first full business week of 2010 and this new decade saw four new blogs joining the LexBlog Network. Three of the four blogs launched this week are in the AmLaw 200. One of these: Sheppard Mullin’s bilingual Hispanic Latino Team Blog. Very cool.
- Patent Practice Professional Liability Reporter is published by lawyers and attorneys at Northwest law firm Lane Powell. The firm has offices Seattle, Portland, Olympia, Anchorage and London (not quite the Northwest). They blog on topics that include patent litigation, legal malpractice, insurance claims and venue selection.
- As touched on in the introduction, the Hispanic Latino Team Blog by Sheppard Mullin is available in both English and Spanish. To further elaborate on what they specialize in, Sheppard Mullin’s Hispanic Latino Team “provides specialized legal representation to Hispanic Latino-owned companies, domestic and international companies doing business in the U.S., and companies with predominately Spanish speaking work forces.” Definitely a valuable and user-friendly resource.
- Gibbons—an AmLaw 200 firm with offices throughout the Northeast—updates the IP Law Alert blog. The publication is edited by Nancy J. Mertzel, a Director in the Gibbons Intellectual Property Department. The blog provides insight and commentary on intellectual property legal developments.
- Compensation Committee Corner is authored, primarily, by executive compensation and employee benefit arrangements attorney Anthony Eppert. They do plan on having some guest writers as well. The blog aims to provide news, information and commentary to board members serving on compensation committees of publicly-held companies.
