July 31, 2009
It was a big week for LexBlog, coming to a close on the last day of July. We launched six blogs this week on a variety of topics. I’d keep an eye on Gideon Alper’s Gay Couple Law Blog. He’s a third year law student who certainly has a passion for blogging. This is just one of six, so drop in to all of them and take a look at what they have to offer, there may be something to learn.
- The Connecticut Business Litigation Law Blog is authored by Glastonbury attorney Kane Bennett of Raymond & Bennett LLC. On his blog, Kane provides commentary on lawsuits and other legal issues affecting Connecticut businesses.
- The Banking & Finance Law Report is AmLaw 200 firm Porter Wright‘s fourth blog with LexBlog. This blog covers current developments in banking and finance law, with topics covered including collection and foreclosure, bankruptcy, bank regulation and real estate.
- Another AmLaw 200 firm, Reed Smith pushes its blog total into double figures with their Lending Law Report. This blog provides readers with insights and information on legal issues affecting corporate financial transacitons.
- As mentioned earlier, the Gay Couples Law Blog is published by Gideon Alper, a third year law student at Emory University. His blog covers new developments in family law and estate planning for same sex couples. Take a look at the content he has already; this is going to be a great blog.
- Updated by Mike Helfland and other professionals at FindGreatLawyers.com, the All About Illinois Law Blog covers all areas of law and associated legal developments in the state of Illinois.
- Authored by Thomas J. Wall and Trisha Gnyp of Wall Law Group, the Michigan Estate Planning Law Blog has commentary on estate planning and probate issues impacting Michigan residents.
