Pam Garfield joins LexBlog as Director of Client Services
LexBlog is growing, perhaps more quickly than even I anticipated. Critical to our continued success is building out a senior executive team. An executive team which can provide strong visionary leadership, but also make certain we execute on our plans.
It’s an honor to introduce Pam Garfield, as LexBlog’s Director of Client Services, and a member of our executive team.
Pam’s not only a lawyer of 15 years, but has a wealth of experience in publishing, educational programing, and online communities. With over 600 blogs (growing at 30 a month) and over 2,500 lawyer authors, Pam’s experience and leadership is a God send.
- She was formerly a practicing lawyer, like other members of the LexBlog executive team, earning her law degree from the University of Denver.
- She spent 10 years in education publishing in a variety of roles, eventually becoming Executive Editor of the country’s largest health education publisher.
- More recently she developed online communities in which chronically ill patients could connect with one another to provide education, support, and information.
Pam signed on with LexBlog not just because of her background in the law and online communities but because she believes, like I do, that social media can enhance the personal and professional lives of lawyers and that lawyers want and need counsel and support in this arena.
Drop Pam an email, give her a call (206-204-3211), follow her on Twitter, or connect with her at LinkedIn. Pam’s here for you and looking forward to meeting all of you.
