Live LexBlog blogs for the week of 4/20-4/24
April 27, 2009
Better late than never, here are the new blogs from last week. We have five new blogs, some from regular LexBlog users and some first-time publishers. One of those new sites happens to be the first sports blog we’ve done in a while. Be sure to check that one out as the writing is great and it’s much more than simply a blog.
- Privacy Compliance & Data Security is one of two launches this week for Fox Rothschild. This blog is authoerd by Philadelphia lawyers Mark G. McCreary, Amy C. Purcell and Scott L. Vernick. These experienced attorneys provide analysis on data breach prevention and the appropriate response when it happens.
- New Jersey Real Estate Law is the second Fox Rothschild blog to go live this week. Authored by Jeffrey Hall, with contributions from Jack Plackter, Alexander Wixted and Andrea Tompkins Wright, the blog provides information on topics such as land use and zoning, green building and tax appeals.
- The Iowa Employment Law Blog is written by Des Moines lawyer Patrick Smith, who represents employers of all types and sizes before trial courts, appellate courts, and administrative agencies throughout the State of Iowa.
- Privacy Law & Policy is published by Boston attorney Kevin Whitaker, a founding member of Wilson & Whitaker, LLC. The blog covers topics that include cloud privacy, compliance, identity theft and policy.
- Another employment law blog, the Texas Employment Law Update is authored by Russell Cawyer, a partner representing Texas employers in Kelly Hart & Hallman’s labor and employment practice group practicing out of the firm’s Fort Worth, Texas office.
- Not to discount the other work we have done recently, but this is one of the more exciting projects we’ve worked on in a while: Beyond Bowie is a blog and community covering the Portland Trailblazers. The blog is written by lifelong Blazer fans Max Handelman, a partner in Brownstone Productions and Erik Barmack, a Senior Director of business development for ESPN.
