Talk of the LexBlogosphere: August 6, 2007
It is Monday morning, and despite a slowdown in blog activity this past weekend, it seems like the entries are once again flowing strong. The date is August 6, and here are some of today’s discussions:
- Greg Price of PKF Texas describes and links to a handy new feature available from Business 2.0 online in his blog, From Greg’s Head.
- “Listening is truly an art,” writes marketing expert Tom Kane this morning. In today’s entry to the Legal Marketing Blog, Tom provides tips on how lawyers can become better listeners.
- In the Insolvency Blog, Chris Laughton of Mercer & Hole (our accounting firm clients from across the pond) comments on whether or not he expects an insolvency boom anytime in the near future.
- New York attorney Andrew Lavoott Bluestone answers the question, “Where can the lawyer be sued in legal malpractice?” in the New York Attorney Malpractice Blog.
- Today brought a highly anticipated Chapter 11 filing from American Home Mortgage Holdings, Inc., and the blogging lawyers from Morris James LLP provide coverage of AMHM’s decline in the Delaware Business Bankruptcy Report.
Just a reminder that any of our clients who feel that they have a particularly interesting or informative post coming up should feel free to e-mail me and let me know. Have a firm announcement you want other lawyers to know about? A recent development in your field you think would interest your colleagues? Trying a new writing style in your blog and looking for feedback on it?
If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, you should consider alerting us of your update. When clients request that content be included in Talk of the LexBlogosphere, I will do my best to work it into that day’s update. I look forward to hearing from each of you.
