Talk of the LexBlogosphere: July 18, 2007
July 18, 2007
Today, LexBlog will begin a new feature that provides the readers of this blog with updates on who’s doing what in the LexBlog blogosphere.
It’s not even 11 a.m. here in Seattle, but the entries have already started flowing. The calendar reads July 18, and here’s what some of our bloggers are talking about today:
- Content keeps flowing over at the ACS Blog (published by the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy), despite the fact that the Supreme Court of the United States has gone into summer recess. An entry this morning discusses the controversy surrounding Robert Conrad, a judge who President Bush has nominated to the Fourth Circuit.
- Attorney Bill Marler at the Marler Blog provides an update on health risks of keeping animals in public settings, such as petting zoos, and how to minimize those risks.
- At the Legal Marketing Blog, Tom Kane gives insights on successful lawyer marketing. Today he comments on the benefits of including a law firm’s entire staff – not just attorneys – on their static website.
- Attorney Laura Paris of Carlock Copeland Semler & Stair, whose South Carolina Immigration Law Blog was the focus of a LexBlog article last month, continues blogging on hot immigration issues. Today the U.S. Senate will be voting on the DREAM Act. Don’t know what it is? Laura’s post today provides information and commentary on possible ramifications of the bill.
- In the DC Metro Area Medical Malpractice Law Blog, the blogging lawyers and attorneys from Regan Zambri & Long, PLLC point out some of the often-overlooked dangers of “detox diets.”
That’s the news from our corner of the digital world today. Check back tomorrow for another update of what’s got people talking in the LexBlogosphere.
