Law firms can learn from SNL’s Lorne Michaels

From Techdirt, Lorne Michaels wants more of Saturday Night Live on YouTube. Michaels sees the promotional value in others running your content.

YouTube has been great for us. I think it’s simple for me. If the work is good, I want the most number of people to see it — period. Anything that leads to that would be my objective.

Social media, whether it be blogs, podcasts, or videos is a wonderful way for law firms to share their content. Not only is your content going to viewed at your blog or website, but it’s also going to be reproduced by third parties and shared with their audience.

And like Michaels says, if your content is good, you ‘want the most number of people to see it — period.’
