Two-thirds discover blogs by links on other blogs

March 7, 2007

Two-thirds of blog readers discover blogs by links on other blogs while recommendations account for another 23% of blog finds, per a report by Vizu Answers and Ad Age.

For lawyers, this is why it’s critical to network with other bloggers, whether other lawyers or non-lawyer bloggers. It’s done by writing about these other bloggers and their blog content.

They’ll see you by monitoring RSS feeds of their name, blog name, and blog url. If you’re blogging good stuff on a niche relevant to the audience of these other bloggers, the bloggers will subscribe to your blog and share some of your posts and your name with their readers via a link in their posts.
