Yes it’s true. FindLaw’s Director of Marketing Programs, Ed Van Riessenl, a competitor of LexBlog in the lawyer Internet marketing space, cited me for having a great post over the weekend about the real real goal of lawyer Internet marketing. I had cited FindLaw’s profiles of lawyers using FindLaw’s Internet marketing solutions.
This follows on the heels of my posts over the weekend and last week on why you need to be linking to your competitor’s blog posts. By doing so you enter into a widely read discussion pertaining to your area of expertise. Widely read by your target audience – prospective clients and those who influence them.
Think we can get FindLaw to improve the quality of the lawyer blogs FindLaw offers to their lawyer customers by contracting out to LexBlog? That’ll probably take a little more than some link love.
