Most popular types of RSS readers : Informal survey

Types of RSS readersRead/Write Web asked readers what type of RSS reader do you use?

Web based readers such as Bloglines and Google Reader carry the day over desktop readers like FeedDemon and NetNewswire.

Though intrigued with Google Reader, I still prefer my NetNewswire. Maybe I am a creature of habit but its ease in organizing feeds and posting with sister product, MarsEdit makes it a winner for me.

Lawyers new to blogging and the larger group of lawyers who don’t know a darn thing about blogging struggle with RSS readers. The cause is two fold. One, the difficulties in understanding the concept of RSS feeds and two, the absence of training & support in the use of a RSS reader.

LexBlog may have the answer next month.
