Hurricane law : Emerging field addressed by large law firm blog

This morning’s Naples Daily News had a lengthy article about hurricane law becoming an emerging field of law.

McGlinchey Stafford’s Hurricane Law Blog is a perfect example of how a large law firm may market on such a niche area of the law through the effective use of a blog. Though it’s taken some work, the firm’s blog offers a central repository for current information about hurricane-related legislation, litigation, and regulatory issues affecting Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and Alabama.

Not only is the blog used by the firm as a business development when bidding on new work and enhancing the reputation of McGlinchey Stafford’s lawyers as leaders in hurricane law, but it also does nice a nice job on the search engines. Do a Google search for hurricane law, hurricane law firm, or hurricane lawyers. Number one on all – as of today.

As way of disclosure, McGlinchey Stafford is a LexBlog client.
