Who’s watching you? Look at del.icio.us
If you’re active on the Internet, one way to look at who among the innovative is watching you is del.icio.us.
Per their site “Del.icio.us is a social bookmarks manager. It allows you to easily add sites you like to your personal collection of links, to categorize those sites with keywords, and to share your collection not only between your own browsers and machines, but also with others.”
I did a search for LexBlog at del.icio.us and found that 51 people had bookmarked or tagged LexBlog under various categories they themselves defined. Felt good to see us tagged for design by a lot of people. We were also being followed for, among other things, blog business ideas.
Only the most innovative on the net are tagging sites and blog posts at del.icio.us so do not expect most people following you to show up.
And by the way, people tagging blogged content is another advantage for lawyer and professional services blogs. You’re not going to find many people tagging law firm or professional services firms’ websites.
