Google Blogoscoped asks Is Yahoo experimenting with a new layout? Take a look at the screenshot sent into them.

If this is a new layout, blogs will be playing a more important role. Blog RSS feeds are picked up by both MyYahoo and Yahoo News, both receiving higher billing in this layout.
