Google News adds recommended stories

Google News has added a feature providing users recommended stories. “Recommendations are based on what you have searched for and clicked on in the past, and they will improve over time as you use Google News.”

When logged into Google, you’ll see a navigation heading for ‘Recommended’ as on the picture on the left of my Google News side navigation bar. There’s no FAQ’s under Google help yet. I also had no recommendations despite being a heavy user of Google news through registration for news searches delivered through RSS feeds.
