FeedDemon 2.0 RSS aggregator gets glowing reviews

Other than Netnewswire, built solely for Macs, I have not seen a good desk top RSS feed aggregator. But Rick Klau, VP Of Business Development at Feedburner, (FeedDemon 2.0 beta rocks) and Brad Feld, managing director at Mobius Venture Capital (FeedDemon Beta Happiness) give FeedDemon’s upgrade a big thumbs up.

Newsgator owns both Netnewsire and FeedDemon. Perhaps that’s the reason for the upgrade. In addition NewsGator works very well in monitoring RSS feeds for keywords and key phrases. Feld reports that integration of these feeds into FeedDemon works well.

Note that I have not yet used the FeedDemon upgrades. LexBlog, previously set our clients up on FeedDemon but switched to Bloglines as our clients found it easier to use. We’ll have to give it another whirl.
