Technorati increasing speed of RSS feed searches

Per Steve Rubel, David Sifry says that Technorati is indexing faster than every other blog search engine, as a graph on Sifry’s blog indicates.

Personally, I can tell you that the performance of Technorati has increased dramatically since some of their slowdowns this last summer.

As Steve says, speed is not the key at the end of the day – it’s relevance of the RSS Feed search results. Google won on relevance on the search engine front and look where they are today. Watch out for who wins on the blog search engine/aggregator – they are apt to become a household name. But again, it could be Google again.
